By creating an account, accessing, or using GLINT, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GLINT Technologies Inc.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and in such case "you" and "your" will refer to that organization.
Binding Agreement
These Terms form a binding legal contract. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, you must immediately cease using our Service and may not create or maintain an account.

"Verified Member"
A user who has successfully completed our KYC verification process and has been approved for full marketplace access.

"Authentication"

"Escrow Service"
A secure payment holding service where funds are held by a neutral third party until transaction conditions are met.
"Transaction"
Any purchase, sale, auction, or other commercial activity conducted through the GLINT platform.
"User Content"
Any content uploaded, posted, or submitted by users, including listings, photos, reviews, messages, and profile information.
"Prohibited Items"
Items that are illegal, counterfeit, stolen, restricted, or otherwise prohibited from sale on the platform.
"Expert Review"
Professional assessment and authentication of luxury goods by qualified specialists in specific categories.
"Digital Passport"
A blockchain-based NFT certificate that serves as immutable proof of authenticity, ownership, and provenance for luxury items. Each Digital Passport contains comprehensive item information, authentication data, and transaction history stored permanently on the blockchain.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

6.5 Platform, Buyer, and Seller Responsibilities
GLINT operates as a marketplace platform facilitating transactions between independent buyers and sellers. The following clearly defines the responsibilities and limitations of each party.

Transaction Independence
All transactions occur directly between independent buyers and sellers:

7. Transactions and Payments

We use Stripe for payment processing. All transactions are subject to Stripe's terms of service and applicable fees. We support major credit cards, debit cards, and alternative payment methods as available through Stripe.
7.2 Stripe Connect Integration
GLINT utilizes Stripe Connect to facilitate secure, compliant transactions between buyers and sellers. This system provides:
- Separate connected accounts for each seller with verified identities
- True escrow functionality with funds segregation
- Manual payout schedules that hold funds until transaction completion

7.3 Seller Account Setup
To sell on GLINT, sellers must complete Stripe Connect onboarding, which includes:

8.6 Account Suspension and Appeals

Appeal Process:

9. Escrow Services
GLINT provides true escrow services through Stripe Connect's manual payout schedule, ensuring funds are properly segregated and held until transaction conditions are satisfied. This is not mere accounting-based tracking but genuine fund segregation that complies with escrow regulations.

Upon successful transaction completion and buyer receipt confirmation, GLINT automatically mints a Digital Passport NFT.

Within the return window, Digital Passports remain in "active" status.
